Benefits for the Carpenter Helper include:

• Weekly paychecks! - $18.00 - $22.00/hour, dependent on your experience and skills

Responsibilities for the Carpenter Helper include:

• Basic demolition and preparation of job sites.
• Assist with drywall installation, finishing, patching, and repair.
• Assist with the alteration, repair, construction, and maintenance of floors, stairways, partitions, and walls.
• Wood and Metal framing.
• Install drop ceiling grid and tile.
• Install cove base, install and repair modular carpet squares, LVT Tile, and hardwood flooring.
• Interior and exterior surface preparation for painting to include, but not limited to, sanding, filling holes, drywall, and wall repair.
• Clean up and general cleanliness of job sites.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements for Carpenter Helper:

• Possess outstanding customer service skills and a can-do attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• This position will mainly work 1st shift, Monday -Friday, but may need occasional availability on different shifts/days.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with 1 to 2 years of commercial carpentry experience preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right individual who has basic tool knowledge and experience, and wants to learn a trade.
• Basic computer knowledge and the ability to use work order systems.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
• Personal hand tools are a plus.
• Ability to pass drug screen and FBI/BCI background check.
