Job Description

International Banking institution seeks a bilingual Japanese (preferred) Credit Operations Associate. Japanese language skill is preferred but not required.

The position involves analytical and operational tasks within the front office of a corporate banking branch, serving subsidiaries of Asian corporate clients, including Japanese.

The analytical responsibilities include financial statement analysis, developing complex models, and supporting forecasts related to capital requirements and credit loss estimates.

Operational tasks encompass gathering supporting documentation for deal structuring, liaising with middle and back office teams for KYC procedures, and assisting in drafting pre-screen memos for the Credit Department.

Requirements:

• Formal credit training preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience at a corporate bank or financial institution.
• Some knowledge of banking and prior internships in banking or finance preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred, or equivalent education and training.
• Japanese language skills (business level) are preferred but not mandatory.
