EdgeX builds infrastructure-free IoT systems for real-time asset tracking and environmental monitoring, primarily in healthcare and industrial environments. Our sensors and platform operate entirely independent of facility IT, enabling instant deployment and insights.

EdgeX is seeking a fractional CMO to lead core marketing functions and set strategy while executing key initiatives directly. This role is hands-on, focused, and accountable. You will drive demand generation, messaging, and early-stage growth. Opportunity to convert to a full-time position.

• Define and execute a focused marketing plan tied to growth KPIs
• Own positioning, customer messaging, and GTM strategy
• Assist CEO in capital (fundraising) campaigns
• Contribute to investor and board communications as needed
• Build and run lead generation campaigns (digital, content, outbound)
• Manage brand presence across site, decks, and collateral
• Align with sales and product to prioritize funnel and feature feedback
• Establish marketing metrics and basic reporting processes

• 10+ years in B2B marketing roles, including time in SaaS or IoT
• Experience launching or scaling early-stage tech products
• Proven demand generation execution and GTM planning
• Willingness to operate solo or with limited resources
• Clear, concise communicator with data-driven decision-making

• Engagement: Fractional/part-time, structured as contract-based engagement
• Cash: Paid on an hourly basis and will reflect heavier stock compensation vs cash
• Equity: Equity grant reflecting early-stage executive-level contribution
• Path to Full-Time: Cash comp may scale with performance; conversion to full-time possible as business grows
