Coverage NeedASAP - OngoingScheduleSunday - SundayInpatient GI Sun-Sun 6a-6a call24hr Weekend Call Rounding + Consults + ProceduresClinical DetailsProvider will not work soloTypical Day Inpatient:Provider Will Cover Hospital Inpatients, Consults, and Procedures From About 8a - 430p If Finished Early Can Leave as Long as Within 30 Min Response TimeWill Consider a General Surgeon for Gastro Procedures No Clinic No After Hour Call Procedures - Colonoscopies and/or Endoscopies AVG Cases - 18 - 20Most Common Emergencies:Food impaction and GI bleed are most common emergenciesThe Provider Will Work Mon - Fri 2 Days Procedures and 3 Days ClinicClinic Volume: 10-15 patients per dayProcedure Volume: 10-12 procedures per dayProvider will Rotate Between Clinic and Procedures, Potentially a Higher Volume of Procedure Time v. ClinicHospitalist Covers Inpatient Besides On-Call ProviderAVG Census: 75% new patients, 25% Follow Ups in Clinic for AppointmentsRequirementsActive Maryland License or provider with IMLC in handMust have/be Willing to Obtain Maryland CDS (Controlled and Dangerous Substance)Board Status:Board Certified, Board Eligible5YearsMinimum ExperienceNo ERCP, No EUS Experience NecessaryEMReClinicalworksMeditechAdditional InfoCredentialing timeframe: 6 - 8 weeksFull and Temp Only Disaster PrivilegesARE NOT AVAILABLE
