Description: Responsible for executing Lift Bridge Brewery retail strategies and objectives in market to achieve sales and distribution goals, build and grow on & off premise retail relationships and represent the brewery at special events and promotions.

Duties:

• Work directly with Lift Bridge Brewery distributor and their sales staff in their territory to promote Lift Bridge products and sales activities.
• Manage assigned responsibilities:
  • Assigned retail account visits
  • Attend key wholesaler & retailer meetings
  • Sampling & event support
  • Retail merchandising & execution - on/off premise
  • Distributor work-with assignments
  • Secure on-premise draft distribution & features
  • Secure off-premise package distribution, display execution and features
  • Ensure retail pricing standards
  • Attend regular sales team meetings
  • General admin responsibilities & ad hoc requests
• Manage special events in market area including commitment to participation in the beer related special events and logistical coordination between the distributor and the event staff and attendance and representation on behalf of the brewery.

Must haves:

• Must be of legal drinking age
• Appreciation for craft beer and desire to build a career in sales for a local, high quality, and fast-growing Brewery
• 2 to 4 years sales experience (alcohol beverage industry preferred, familiar with the brewing industry and 3-tier distribution)
• Strong familiarity with Twin Cities market and On Premise execution
• Excellent problem solving, record keeping, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment to accomplish goals
• Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task
• Minimum 40 hours per week with frequent night and weekend work
• A valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and ability to drive around the Twin Cities Metro
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. repeatedly
• Proficiency with Google GSuite

Extras:

• Cicerone or other beer education completed programs or certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in associated field.
