*Job Summary*
Autumn lake Healthcare at Cherry Lane is looking for a qualified RN nursing unit manager to oversee patients and manage the nursing team in our facility. Our ideal candidate has solid experience as a registered nurse and is able to handle stressful situations. This position requires team management skills and a problem-solving attitude. Further training in management or administration would be a bonus. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure smooth nursing operation at our facility through day-to-day management and long term planning.

*Duties*

* Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
* Ensure adherence to established protocols and standards of care within the unit or facility.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective discharge planning for patients.
* Oversee patient care activities in critical care settings, including Level II trauma center operations.
* Manage acute pain management strategies for patients, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place.
* Facilitate health coaching initiatives to promote wellness and recovery among patients.
* Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records systems such as Cerner.
* Provide specialized care for patients with dementia and those requiring assisted living services.
* Coordinate home care services as needed to support patient transitions from hospital to home environments.
* Etc.

*Job Requirements*

* Active Registered Nurse licensure without disciplinary infractions by Maryland Board of Nursing.
* BSN desired
* 1-2 years of management experience.
* Knowledge and proficiency with COMAR, OHCQ and CMS guidelines a plus.
* Short term and long term experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
