SEO SPECIALIST/MANAGER
Are you fascinated by algorithms, results and data-driven and a keyword maverick? Rebel is looking for an experienced and versatile SEO professional to execute a variety of content and technical-related SEO tasks, as well as off-page strategy, with the goal of increasing the performance and rankings of client websites on all major search engines.
What You’ll Do
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and execute SEO strategy for client accounts based on current website performance, client goals and budget for long-term growth and success
Execute deliverables, including (but not limited to):
Keyword Research & Mapping
Metadata and On-Page Content Optimizations
Technical Audits
Backlink Gap Analyses
Content Gap Analyses
Extract data from platforms and tools to provide key metrics, valuable insights and analysis in monthly reports
Manage communications and nurture relationships on client accounts by providing regular updates via email, phone and in-person meetings
Work closely with the content team to provide additional insight from an SEO perspective for content calendars, social posts, blogs, etc.
Work with development, marketing and editorial teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed websites
Integrate SEO tactics with the paid search team to optimize campaigns on search engines and social platforms
Stay informed and current on SEO trends, algorithm updates and changes to the search landscape
Drive continued innovations, constantly investigate new SEO best practices, platforms and strategies
Job Requirements
At least 3–4 years of SEO experience (title of Specialist or Manager will be determined based on level of experience)
Prior experience with content marketing/content growth is a plus
Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices
Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google My Business
Ability to effectively communicate processes and tactics to peers, directors, and other team members
Extensive knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent presentation, written and collaboration skills
Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Willingness to jump into new platforms and learn new skills; curious
Willingness to mentor other members of SEO team
Semi-hybrid work schedule requiring at least 4 days per week in the Cheshire office, with one of those days being Wednesday
