A combination of equivalent experience, education, or professional training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position as determined by the Human Resources Office may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
What is the typical schedule?
Typically, you will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. However, at times, this position is expected to attend night meetings and special events as needed.
What is the pay?
The starting annual salary for this position is $53,690 ($25.81 per hour); this is a non-exempt position. This position is also eligible for annual economic adjustments and performance-based adjustments, as approved by the City Council.

Furthermore, the City of Janesville strives to ease the transition between employers by minimizing the stress associated with gaps in insurance coverage. For new hires before the 15th of the month, medical, dental, and vision insurance become effective on the date of hire. For those hired on or after the 15th of the month, these benefits kick in on the 1st of the following month.
