Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Time Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at the Hopewell Campus. This position is ideal for an experienced LDR RN who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process. The role requires flexibility and a commitment to working every other weekend and holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, responding promptly to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Cerner).
• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or Compact State.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; previous travel experience preferred.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Work Schedule:

• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Block scheduling and shift accommodations are not available.
