Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team on a temporary basis to work onsite with one of our valued clients. In this role, you'll leverage your analytical expertise to drive financial analysis and underwriting for large group customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply underwriting risk and pricing guidelines to develop pricing decisions, assess risks, and project future costs for new and existing accounts
• Collaborate with Sales to provide pricing rationale and craft renewal strategies that meet customer objectives and financial goals
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to inform business decisions
• Communicate underwriting strategies to internal and external stakeholders
• Make sound, independent decisions that balance business objectives and risk management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of underwriting experience (healthcare industry experience strongly preferred)
• Large group pricing experience a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Pricing and RFP experience
