Position Summary The Elevator attendant is a vital member of the Arena staff as they are involved in direct contact with the public. As a representative of the CFG Bank Arena, a friendly greeting attached to a smiling face goes a long way in helping our guest enjoy their visit. Providing top-notch customer service is your responsibility. Our elevator attendants will be essential in creating a safe and memorable experience for all guests at CFG Bank Arena. This position is ideal for candidates who want to immerse themselves in an exciting live entertainment environment. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00. Responsibilities Proactively welcome guests and answer questions Identify opportunities to create memorable experiences for guests Perform thorough ticket checks and scans to ensure valid access into arena and other ticketed areas Provide directions to ticketed seats and other arena locations Preventing guests from accessing unauthorized areas Respond to and/or escalate guest complaints, concerns, and compliments Assist guests with reasonable requests for accommodation, including but not limited to wheelchair escort services Ensure that guests are safely moved to the proper floor Effectively communicate safety and security measures Reports any suspicious activity to supervisors and/or management Monitoring your area for additional and continuous assistance Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including walking steps, exposure to loud noises, and standing for long periods of time Monitor elevator capacity to ensure safe and comfortable rides Assist guests with disabilities, the elderly, or those requiring additional support Maintain a clean and presentable elevator area Report any mechanical issues with the elevator to the appropriate department Qualifications 70% event availability commitment. Event requirement is subject to change with notice Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle stressful situations Must be 18 years of age or older Previous experience in a customer service-based industry is preferred Previous experience within a sports, entertainment, or related field is preferred Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required. Extensive time spent with moderate to loud noises Extensive time spent inside the elevator Fluctuating temperatures to include hot and cold conditions - external and internal facility exposure Frequent bending, standing for long periods of time and walking of the building, including climbing stairs Exposure to flashing lights Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting personal schedules and extending hours to meet event staffing needs, including securing reliable transportation to and from the arena during non-traditional business hours Arrive at work in appropriate furnished uniform, refrain from cellphone use in public spaces while on post and remaining on post until dismissed or relieved Strengthened by our Differences.
